At some point, I realized that my paintings didn't have to remain on the wall. I could free them entirely from from the 2-dimensional plane and allow them to stand alone or dance across the floor. These large sculptures are the ultimate liberation of my paintings and they are bound only by gravity and the limits of the medium of paper.
